Narangba, Queensland (23rd July 2026) – Jumbo Resources is pleased to announce that ECORR Pty Ltd has made a strategic investment in the business, marking an important milestone in the group’s continued growth and long-term vision for sustainable waste management and resource recovery across Queensland.
The investment follows the acquisition of Moreton Bay Recycling by the owners of Jumbo in 2022, which brought the two businesses under common ownership. Since then, the businesses have continued to strengthen their collaboration, delivering complementary waste management, recycling and resource recovery services to residential, commercial and construction customers throughout South East Queensland.
Today, the Jumbo and Moreton Bay Recycling brands continue to operate as a united business group, combining their expertise, people and capabilities to provide integrated solutions that support Queensland’s growing infrastructure, construction and circular economy sectors.
ECORR’s investment will provide additional capital to support the Jumbo Resources group’s continued investment in operational capability, fleet, infrastructure, technology and innovation while maintaining the strong customer relationships and service standards that have underpinned the business for more than two decades.
Importantly, there will be no changes to the day-to-day operations of Jumbo or Moreton Bay Recycling. The group’s leadership team, employees, customer relationships and commitment to service excellence remain unchanged.
Rory Crundall, CEO & Founder, Jumbo Resources, said:
“This investment is an important milestone for our business and reflects the confidence ECORR has in our people, our strategy and the future of the Jumbo Resources group.”
“Since bringing Jumbo and Moreton Bay Recycling together under common ownership, we’ve continued to invest in building an integrated business that delivers practical and sustainable waste management solutions. ECORR’s investment enables us to accelerate that journey while remaining focused on delivering outstanding service to our customers and creating long-term value for our stakeholders.”
Martin O’Connell, Managing Director & Founder, ECORR, said:
“We are delighted to partner with the Jumbo Resources group at an exciting stage of its growth.”
“Jumbo and Moreton Bay Recycling have established strong reputations within Queensland’s waste management and resource recovery sectors. We look forward to supporting the group’s long-term growth strategy as it continues to invest in innovation, operational excellence and sustainable outcomes.”
